Crime Rate Rising in Shuttleside

SHUTTLESIDE, Paquin - Residents are warned to be careful in the Shuttleside area of Spinwheel City.

The area, just south of Paquin Interplanetary, has seen an increase in muggings and assaults in recent weeks. The narrow streets of the area and the transitory nature of the population have lead to the unwary being targeted by unsavory elements.

Spinwheel Division told the Mercury that the narrow streets prevent patrol by police. Captain Ceasar Otsuka said that the police do plan to increase foot patrols when manpower allows it.

SPINWHEEL CITY - Dyssen Corporation has moved its headquarters to downtown Spinwheel.

The move is the latest in the recent redevelopment of the city's business district. The company joins CNS Corp. among the major corporations that call Paquin home.

Dyssen is a multistellar conglomerate with a focus on heavy equipment and power generation. Along with the headquarters, the company also has a warehouse and research lab in Shuttleside in the southwest corner of the city.

CNS Corp., owner of the 'Verse Voice newswave and of this newspaper, has redeveloped it's own headquarters building just east of the Paquin Planetary bank. Along with media, the company also does construction management and consumer products such as vehicles and small electronics.

Other companies have moved business into Spinweel as well. Londinium Gearworks, a spacecraft builder, has opened offices on Theatre Street. A number of shops have also opened along the street, becoming the leading shopping district of the city.

CATZ has also started to increase the stock being held at their warehouse next to Paquin Interplanetary Spaceport.

Discussions have started about starting a stock market with its base in Spinwheel City. Watch the Paquin Mercury for more details in the future.
